Lunar Lapins is a northeast Georgia rabbitry owned by Alice and Sami Stark. We raise Holland Lops for showing, breeding, and as pets. We have started working on Mini Lops, Netherland Dwarfs, and Dwarf Hotots as well. We have been raising rabbits since spring 2006, and showing since fall 2006. In the seemingly short amount of time from then to now, so much has happened, including meeting new friends, learning new lessons, and so much more. We have gone from pet bunnies to Grand Champions in less than two years, and we couldn't have done it alone. Therefore, we would like to thank Gary and Susan Smith; Mike and Tiffany Harris; Lisa Reynolds; Deidre Edder; Brenda, Kylee, and Paige Smith; and the forty-two billion other people who have helped us in the "rabbit world." Seriously, I don't think we would have gotten very far into this without the help and encouragement we were, and still are, receiving. Thank you; we really appreciate everything you have done for us. In addition to the above people who have helped us out so much, I believe the Trammell family deserves a special thanks. They are very kind, and they work as hard as they can to help others. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that they are greatly appreciated. And just in case anyone is wondering: "Lunar" means "of the moon." Most cultures associate rabbits with the moon. "Lapins" is the French word for "rabbits." Today's domestic rabbits can be traced back to rabbits bred by French monks in the Middle Ages.
